Children of Cambodia – Christmas Project News

I have some FANTASTIC news! Thanks to my former employer (and still friend) as well as the Australian Catholic University, each student at the school in Cambodia will receive a lovely new library bag for Christmas!

This is such a wonderful donation which I know will be really appreciated by all of the kids.

So, our mission now is to fill these bags with books for the kids. These can be brand new or pre-loved books.

Do you have any books (children’s books or mini-novels) at home that are collecting dust? Would you be happy to donate them towards our Christmas Project? OR, are you willing to purchase a book as a gift and send it to the school?

The Chatuchak Weekend Markets

One of the biggest attractions for tourists coming to Thailand is the shopping – and one of the best places to do this is at the Chatuchak weekend markets.

The Chatuchak markets fill an enormous area with both inside and outside stalls. It seems that absolutely anything can be found here.

I have been mentally compiling a list of places that I will take friends and family when they come to visit. Chatuchak will definitely be on that list! I know that they will love the selection of clothes, household items, garden decorations, boutique pet clothing, food and everything else that can be found there.

This was my third visit – and I am still yet to see the entire place!
